MOLYKOTE 106 Anti-Friction Coating is a heat-curing coating of solid lubricants in an organic binder and solvent that offers long-lasting high load-carrying capacity, a low coefficient of friction and good adhesion. It provides maintenance-free, permanent dry lubrication of metal/metal combinations, especially where oil or grease cannot be used.

- Service temperature -70 °C to +250 °C; dark grey
- Cure 60 minutes at 150 °C (object temperature)
- Recommended dry-film thickness 5–20 µm

Applications
- Permanent lubrication of highly stressed friction pairs at low speeds or oscillating operation
- Locks, hinges, joints and magnetic armatures
- Anti-seizure coating of engine and gear components
Notes
- Clean and degrease; phosphating or sand-blasting (180 grit) improves adhesion. Apply by spraying, dipping, centrifuging or brushing; thin with MOLYKOTE L 13.
