Shell Omala S2 GX 320 is an extreme pressure (EP) industrial gear oil developed for the lubrication of heavy duty industrial gears. It has high load carrying capacity and low friction. Its oxidation stability and resistance to sludge formation provide long oil life even where oil temperatures reach 100 °C. It has good water separation and protects against wear, including micro-pitting, and corrosion. It is used in enclosed industrial gearboxes with spur and helical steel gears, heavily loaded gears, and bearings of circulating or splash lubricated systems. It is compatible with most seal materials.
