Rocol Aerospec 533

ROCOL AEROSPEC 533 is an extreme low temperature silicone grease.

Features:

• Wide operating temperature range from -73°C to +150°C
• Silicone base fluid with lithium complex soap thickener
• Good resistance to water washout
• Compatible with most elastomers and plastics (not silicone rubber)

Applications:

• Pneumatic systems in ships, aircraft, guided weapons and vehicles

Typical Properties:

• Appearance: Smooth off-white grease
• NLGI grade: 2
• Base oil viscosity: 36 cSt at 40°C; 14 cSt at 100°C
• Oil separation (IP 121, 168 h at 40°C): 1.9%
• Evaporation loss (22 h at 150°C): 4.5%
• Oxidation stability (IP 142, 100 h at 100°C): 7 kPa pressure drop
• Low temperature torque at -73°C (IP 186): starting 62.5 mNm; running 25.7 mNm
• Shelf life: 3 years from date of manufacture (storage 1°C to 40°C)
