Ultragel® II is a high-performance ultrasonic couplant used for flaw detection, sizing, thickness gauging, flow metering, and acoustic emission testing. It is Pratt & Whitney approved and meets nuclear grade specifications for halogen and sulfur levels. It fills in depressions in rough surfaces, provides good transducer lubrication, reduces surface noise, and is a thixotropic gel. It is ideal for applications such as flaw detection, thickness gauging, acoustic emission testing, and aerospace inspections.
