Molykote 33M

MOLYKOTE® 33 Medium Extreme Low Temperature Grease is a grease for use under a wide range of temperature conditions in light-load applications with metal-to-metal or metal-to-plastic friction at low to high speeds. It is based on silicone oil and lithium soap. Its service temperature range is −73 to 180 °C, with superior low-temperature characteristics. It is compatible with most plastics and water-resistant, and contains no intentional PTFE or PFAS. It is used in roller and conveyor equipment, control cables, electric motors, photographic, optical and measurement equipment, and in refrigerator and freezer equipment.

• Low-temperature torque at −73 °C: initial breakaway 207 x 10⁻³ N·m, after 20 min 32 x 10⁻³ N·m
• Oil separation (40 °C, 7 days) 0.9%; bleed 4.5% or less and evaporation 3.5% or less after 24 hours at 150 °C
• Four-ball weld load 1400 N; maximum Dn value 200,000 mm/min
