Molykote M 55 Plus is a black dispersion of molybdenum disulphide solid lubricant in mineral oil, used as an additive for lubricating and gear oils.
Features:
- Increases load-carrying capacity and reduces friction and wear
- Reduces running noise and improves running-in
- Emergency running properties; prevents and reduces pitting in gears
Applications:
- Additive for mineral lubricating and gear oils: 5% by volume, 10% for heavy loads
- Suitable for drip oilers and central lubrication systems
- Not for aqueous metalworking emulsions
