PPG N58479/T508 is a two-component polyester-based filler for direct application to metal and composite substrates, for filling holes and surface imperfections. It has high viscosity, excellent sandability and ambient cure, and its long pot life allows large areas to be filled with a single mix.

Mixing and Application
- Mix ratio by weight: N58479 base 100 : N59029NV-3 hardener 1.5
- Pot life: 28–35 minutes at 18–20 °C
- Apply at 15–35 °C and 30–85% RH with a filler knife or spatula, up to 100 µm
- Best adhesion on well-abraded metal, wood and glass-fibre reinforced polyester
Drying (23 °C)
- Dry to sand: 1.5–2 hours; dry to overcoat: 2–3 hours
- Colour: white; mixed VOC <250 g/L
Storage
- Base and hardener: 9 months in unopened containers; 5–35 °C
