BT-70 Developer Spray is a solvent based developer spray for penetrant testing in non-destructive inspection. It is used in all Type 1 and Type 2 penetrant applications with Methods A, B, C and D. It forms an opaque white background and quickly draws out the penetrant to give stronger, clearer indications. It is low in sulphur and halogens and contains no chlorinated solvents. It is used on all metals, synthetic plastics, ceramics and glass, and for castings, forgings, welds, tubular products, pressure vessels and leak testing.

Use, Storage and Packaging
- Shake the can well; spray from 25–30 cm to form a thin film on the surface
- Store at 5–45 °C away from sunlight; shelf life 3 years under suitable conditions
