BONDERITE M-CR 600RTU AERO (known as Alodine 600 RTU) is a ready to use liquid that produces a chromate conversion coating on aluminium and its alloys. The coating protects unpainted aluminium against corrosion and bonds paint well. It is used without dilution and reduces waste and operator exposure. Depending on the alloy and time, it produces a light iridescent gold to tan coating. After drying, the work is ready for use painted or unpainted.

Process
- Steps: cleaning, rinsing, deoxidizing if necessary, rinsing, treating with 600RTU, rinsing, drying
- Operating temperature 21–38 °C (70–100 °F); stainless steel (preferably 316) or acid resistant equipment, no lead or glass
- Remove unreacted chemical by flushing with clean water or wiping with water-damp cloths; blow seams dry with clean, dry compressed air
Storage
- Indoors, away from alkaline and organic materials and chlorine containing materials; do not allow to freeze
- The solution is acidic and contains hexavalent chromium and fluoride; treatment may be required before discharge
