PPG 0707/9000 is the activator for PPG 5014 two-pack polyurethane sanding surfacer, which improves the appearance of aluminium when used over P99 and PAC33 and is also suitable over epoxy, polyester and polyamide composite surfaces.
Use with 5014
- Mix ratio by volume: 5425/0000 base 2 parts, 0707/9000 activator 1 part, 0491/9000 thinner 1 part
- Add the activator to the base and mix thoroughly, then add thinner while stirring
- Pot life: 3 hours at 21–25 °C
5014 Surfacer
- Highly flexible, water resistant
- Good fluid resistance, including phosphate ester hydraulic fluids
- Transparent to ultrasound and radar
- Qualified to ASNA 4251, BLGG 900101, WL 5.7140; meets AIMS 04-04-002 and AIMS 04-04-011
Notes
- Condition all components at 15–30 °C for at least 24 hours before mixing
