PPG CV116 is a two-pack, ambient-curing clear gloss polyurethane coating designed for internal and external use to protect identification markings, labels and emblems, and is also used as an edge sealer for adhesive labels and emblems. It is resistant to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids.

Mixing and Application
- Mix ratio by volume: CV116 2 : ACT34 activator 1; T74/T115 thinner for spray, no thinner for brush
- Pot life (21–25 °C): spray 8 hours, brush 2 hours; apply at 15–35 °C and 20–85% RH
- Dry film thickness 15–30 µm; theoretical coverage 20 m²/L; gloss >90
Drying Times
- At 50% RH, 23 °C / 70 °C: dry to tape 6 hours / 30 min; full cure 7 days / 3 hours; overcoat 2–72 hours
Storage
- Mixed VOC 465 g/L; shelf life 24 months, thinner 10 years
