PPG Desothane HS CA8000/BAC900 is the clear (BAC 900) version of the Desothane HS CA8000 series high-solids polyurethane topcoats used to protect aircraft exteriors.
Features:
- High-solids formulation with excellent adhesion to epoxy primers
- Good gloss and colour retention, excellent fluid resistance
- Can be applied in a wide range of conditions
Applications:
- Exterior aircraft topcoat systems over Desoprime epoxy primers
- Clear BAC 900 grades are also used as decal edge seal in high-erosion areas

- CA8000 series approvals include AMS 3095, BMS 10-72 Type VIII, BMS 10-60 Type II Class B Grade D
Typical Properties:
- Service temperature: -54°C to 177°C
- VOC: below 420 g/L mixed, ready to use
