PPG DeSoto® 512X310 is a urethane-compatible, chrome-free epoxy primer designed for composite aircraft surfaces. It is qualified to BMS 10-103 Type I Grade A and is used with the 910X533 activator.

- Service temperature -54 to 177 °C (-65 to 350 °F)
Components / Application
- Mix ratio by volume: 512X310 base 1 part, 910X533 activator 1 part; agitate 10 minutes
- Induction time: 45 min (13–21 °C), 30 min (22–28 °C), 15 min (>29 °C)
- Pot life: 8 hours at 21–25 °C; application conditions 15–30 °C, 20–90% RH
