PPG PR-1764 Class B is an electrically conductive, corrosion inhibitive sealant. Service temperature is −55 to 121 °C, with intermittent excursions up to 182 °C. The cured sealant maintains electrical continuity in aircraft applications and provides long-term EMI/RFI protection; it protects against corrosion on aluminium alloys and between dissimilar metals and resists prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline. It is a two-part, nickel filled, manganese dioxide cured Permapol® P-3 polythioether, a low sag, thixotropic paste applied by extrusion gun or spatula. It is primed with PR-148 Adhesion Promoter. Tests are run to AMS 3266 Class B methods.
