PPG PR-1773 Class B is a low adhesion, non-chromate, corrosion inhibitive access door sealant. Service temperature is −54 to 121 °C, with intermittent excursions up to 149 °C. It is used for access doors and form-in-place (FIP) gaskets and is an effective barrier against corrosion on aluminium alloys and between dissimilar metals. It is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide applied by extrusion gun or spatula and forms a removable seal. Tests are run to AMS 3284 Class B methods.

- Peel below 4.44 N/25 mm, 100% adhesive failure (easy removal)
- No corrosion in galvanic cell tests with aluminium/titanium, aluminium/cadmium and aluminium/composite couples
- No cracking at −54 °C
Storage
- At least 9 months below 27 °C in unopened containers; frozen cartridges at least 30 days below −40 °C
