PPG PR-1782 Class A is a low density aircraft fuel tank and general purpose sealant. Service temperature is −54 to 121 °C. It is designed for brush sealing of fasteners in fuel tanks and other fuselage sealing applications, and offers up to 30% weight savings per unit volume over traditional sealants. It is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide applied by brush in thicknesses up to 25 mils. Tests are run to AIMS 04-05-012 and AIMS 04-05-001.
