PPG PR-1829 Class B is a rapid curing aircraft windshield and canopy sealant. Service temperature is −62 to 160 °C, with intermittent excursions up to 216 °C. It is designed for fillet sealing of glass, polycarbonate, acrylic and other aircraft applications; it contains no organic solvents, does not craze substrates and resists UV and weather exposure. It is a two-part, epoxy cured Permapol P-3 polythioether compound that cures at low temperatures and is unaffected by relative humidity.

- Tensile strength 2834 kPa (411 psi); elongation 283%
- Weight loss 3.2% after 7 days in JRF at 60 °C; no cracking or loss of adhesion at −54 °C
