PR-186 is a one-part adhesion promoter designed to prepare metallic or painted substrates before the application of sealants such as PR-1828. It is particularly recommended for applications between polythioether materials and manganese/dichromate cured polysulfide sealant. It is easy to apply and dries in 30 minutes at standard temperature.

Application
- Clean surfaces immediately before sealing with appropriate solvents and a new lint-free cloth; dry with a second clean cloth before the solvent evaporates.
- Apply PR-186 with a clean brush or gauze pad as a thin coat and allow 30 minutes to dry.
- Application below 7 °C (45 °F) is not recommended.
- Apply the sealant within 4 hours; if exceeded, re-clean the surface and re-apply the adhesion promoter.
- Do not use if it contains particles or precipitate.
- Determine adhesion on the specific substrate before use on production parts.
