PPG PR-187 is a one-part adhesion promoter that improves the bonding of polythioether compounds to a wide variety of substrates. It is recommended when a PR-1800 series polythioether sealant is applied over a polysulphide material, and is applied by brush or clean gauze.

- Colour: clear green solution, free of particles; specific gravity 1.10
- Dry time at 25 °C (77 °F), 50% RH: 30 minutes
- Does not soften finishes

Directions for Use
- Clean surfaces progressively with solvent and new lint-free cloth (AMS 3819) and dry with a second clean cloth
- Apply a thin coat by brush or clean gauze and allow about 30 minutes to dry
- If the surface becomes contaminated or sealing is not done within 8 hours, reapply
Storage
- At least 9 months below 27 °C (80 °F) in original unopened containers; hygroscopic, keep free of moisture and discard if it becomes cloudy
