PPG PR-2201 Class B is an electrically conductive, rapid cure, non-chromated corrosion inhibitive sealant. Service temperature is −55 to 121 °C, with intermittent excursions up to 182 °C. The cured sealant provides excellent electrical conductivity and EMI/RFI shielding effectiveness, acts as a barrier against corrosion on aluminium alloys and between dissimilar metals, and resists jet fuel and aviation gasoline. It is a two-part, nickel filled, epoxy cured Permapol® P-3.1 polythioether, a low sag, thixotropic paste applied by extrusion gun or spatula. It adheres well to common aircraft substrates when primed with PR-188 Adhesion Promoter.

- Electrical contact resistance 0.038 Ω; 0.76 Ω after 1000 hours salt spray
- No corrosion or significant change of conductivity after 2000 hours salt spray
- No corrosion in galvanic cell tests with titanium, stainless steel and cadmium couples on aluminium
