PPG P/S 815M is a tack free time accelerator applied over manganese dioxide cured polysulfide sealants to cure the surface to a tack-free state in approximately two hours. It significantly reduces the risk of foreign objects and debris (FOD) adhering to the sealant surface during its cure cycle. It is a one-part, ethyl alcohol-based rubber vulcanising accelerator, a low-viscosity liquid applied by spray or brush.

Use
- Supplied in a hand-pump spray bottle; shake and apply a light mist to the surface of the uncured sealant; over-application may cause streaks and running
- No special surface preparation over uncured polysulfide
- For repair: lightly scuff sealant cured with P/S 815M and wash with an aerospace cleaning solvent; an adhesion promoter is recommended over fuel-aged sealant
