ROYCO® 81MS is a high temperature semi-fluid lubricant formulated with microfine molybdenum disulfide and a thermally stable polysiloxane based synthetic oil. The grey-black mixture may be applied by brush, squirt can or pressure applicator. The microfine molybdenum disulfide particles adhere to and penetrate metal surfaces, providing lubrication and antiseize protection even when the oil component is removed. It is used on slow speed sliding metal on metal surfaces operating at temperatures up to 399 °C (750 °F) and as an antiseize compound on threaded parts at temperatures up to 760 °C (1400 °F).

Limitations
- Stir or shake thoroughly before application
- Difficult to remove from surfaces; may stain yellow metals a darker colour
- Must not be used on antifriction bearings under any circumstances
