CHT SE2003 is a two-component silicone elastomer specifically designed for electronic potting and encapsulation applications. It offers good protection against chemicals, environmental contamination, mechanical shock, vibration and impact damage, and can be applied where low flammability is a prerequisite. The cured elastomer can be repaired. The components have relatively low viscosities and are easily mixed by hand or machine. It cures at room temperature, is non-corrosive, has excellent thermal conductivity and is resistant to reversion.

Application and Storage
- Component A contains the platinum catalyst; dosing equipment must not be contaminated by residual hydride-containing elastomers
- Stir both components, then mix by weight at the stated ratio until the colour is uniform; degassing at 30–50 mbar intermittently for 5–10 min is recommended
- 9 months below 40 °C, protected from frost, in a dry place in unopened containers
