PPG PS 890 Class C is an aircraft integral fuel tank sealant. Service temperature is −54 to 121 °C, with intermittent excursions up to 135 °C. It is designed for brush and fay sealing of fuel tanks and other fuselage sealing applications. It is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide, a roller grade liquid applied by brush, extrusion gun or spatula. It maintains elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline. Tests are run to AMS-S-8802 Class C methods.
