The Sherlock Leak Detector is used to detect leaks in pipe joints, pipe connections, tanks or any system under gas or air pressure. Very easy to use, wipe the surface to be tested with a brush or polish, spray with a squeeze bottle or spray with a trigger sprayer. Small leaks form white foam within 5 to 60 seconds. Large leaks create large bubbles almost instantly. Both Types 1 and 2 are neutral solutions that can be used in a pure oxygen environment, as they do not contain any oil, grease or other components that can combine with oxygen to cause burning or explosion.
It met MIL-PRF-25567E. Type I is for use between +35 degrees and +160 degrees Fahrenheit.
