3M™ Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 69 is a white, 0.178 mm thick electrical insulating tape with a 0.140 mm glass cloth backing coated on one side with a non-corrosive, high temperature, flame retardant, thermosetting silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is used in UL applications rated up to 600 V in dry locations, and in coil, transformer and motor applications such as the outer wrap of bobbin wound coils, banding arbor wound coils, lead pad hold-down, end turns and lead anchor and connections. The adhesive requires no heat, moisture or other preparation for application. It is designed for continuous operation not exceeding 200 °C per UL listing and 180 °C per CSA listing.
