3M™ 9191 is a double-sided tape with a polyester cloth carrier and a rubber-resin adhesive. It is a versatile laying tape with excellent adhesion, suitable for rough and textured surfaces and tearable by hand. It is used to fix rugs and carpet tiles and as an assembly aid for holding, fixing or splicing materials such as plastics, metals, cardboard, paper and textiles.

- Total thickness without liner 0.23 mm; liner brown siliconized paper
- Adhesion to stainless steel after 1 minute 95 N/100 mm (PSTC 133)
- Breaking strength 65 N/25 mm; elongation at break 9% (PSTC 131)
- Temperature resistance: long term 60 °C, short term (up to 1 hour) 75 °C; low temperature −30 °C
- Not resistant to plasticizers
