3M Flatback Tape 2517 is a general purpose kraft-paper tape for splicing liner boards, roll tabbing, core starting, bundling, holding and package sealing. It has good backing strength, resists moist conditions and offers high initial tack even in cool conditions.
Features
- Medium brown kraft paper backing, rubber adhesive; thickness 0.16 mm
- 180° peel adhesion 8.5 N/cm; tensile strength 54.3 N/cm
- Withstands a bake cycle up to 149 °C for 30 minutes
- Can be machine dispensed

- Liner board splicing, roll tabbing and core starting
- Bundling, holding and package sealing

Notes
- Store at 16–27 °C and 40–60% RH; use within 18 months of manufacture. Standard roll length 55 m.
