Hernon® Ultrabond 787 is a one-component, thixotropic adhesive that cures when exposed to ultraviolet and/or visible light of sufficient intensity. It is primarily used for bonding rigid and flexible PVC to polycarbonate where large gap filling (0.25 mm) and a flexible joint are desired; its flexibility enhances the load-bearing and shock-absorbing characteristics of the bond. It also shows excellent adhesion to glass, many plastics and most metals.
Uncured Properties
- Chemical type: acrylated urethane; appearance: pale yellow liquid; specific gravity at 25 °C 1.05
- Viscosity at 25 °C 5000 cP; refractive index 1.48
Curing
