Zip-Chem® D-5010NS is a general purpose corrosion preventive that deposits an oily film on the surfaces to be protected and remains in an oily state. It prevents rust and corrosion on all metals, removes light rust formations, and neutralizes acid left by fingerprints and the effects of mild acids, alkalis and corrosive atmospheres. It displaces moisture left by condensation, prevents electrolysis and is non-conductive. It penetrates corrosion to loosen and lubricate frozen parts, and does not congeal or become gummy. It is harmless to plastics, rubber and painted or plated surfaces. It protects engines and parts going into long term storage and is widely used on aircraft and engine parts during component overhaul and on shop tools, gauges and instruments. The bulk version is ZC-010.
