Magnaflux ZYGLO ZL-37 is a Level 4 (ultra-high sensitivity) Type 1 post-emulsifiable fluorescent penetrant for detecting fine, tight discontinuities in safety-critical and high-stress components.
Features:
- Sensitivity Level 4 (ultra-high); Type 1 fluorescent, non-water-soluble
- Removal with ZE-4E lipophilic emulsifier (Method B) or ZR-10E hydrophilic emulsifier (Method D)
- Highest fluorescent brightness of any Level 4 penetrant, per the manufacturer
- Minimal background fluorescence for high-contrast indications
- Resists over-washing: water removal requires an emulsifier, so only surface penetrant is removed during rinse
- Very high thermal resistance and UV stability
- High flash point for extended tank life in open dip tanks
- Low odor, very low toxicity; NPE-free
