AN2101-2 is a reddish brown aqueous solution which is a resorcinol formaldehyde precondensate synthesized under acidic condition. This product contains low free formaldehyde (＜50ppm) and it has excellent stability, which does not polymerize during storage.
Applications
1. AN2101-2 can be used as an adhesive to enhance bond of synthetic fibers such as the polyester, nylon cord and aramid to rubber for tires, hoses, conveyor belts, etc.
2. AN2101-2 can replace resorcinol in RFL dip formulations, and no aging of resin solution is needed during RF process.
