Anti-Seize & Assembly Pastes
Anti-seize compounds and assembly pastes that prevent galling, seizure from corrosion and wear in threaded joints at high temperatures. Brands include Molykote, Loctite, Armite, Rocol, LPS, Never-Seez and Castrol (Braycote); MABAYCO is an authorised distributor for Armite and Castrol Aviation. Copper, nickel, graphite and molybdenum disulfide types are available. MIL-PRF-907, MIL-PRF-83483 and AMS 2518 are frequently requested aerospace specifications.

What is the difference between copper, nickel and MoS₂ anti-seize?
Copper types are general purpose. Nickel types suit stainless steel and high-temperature joints where copper is not wanted. MoS₂ pastes give low friction under high loads.
Does anti-seize affect torque values?
Yes. By reducing friction, the same torque produces higher preload. Check whether the torque value in the maintenance documentation is for lubricated or dry threads.
