Polyken 225FR is a flame retardant duct tape with a PE coated cloth backing and a natural rubber based adhesive. It is used in cargo pit applications for freight aircraft, seaming and repairing cargo compartment liner panels, covering pins and rivets, and for patching, sealing and bundling. It offers high tensile strength for difficult applications, is extremely conformable and tears crisply and straight. It is moisture, solvent and abrasion resistant, adheres aggressively to all surfaces and resists flagging and lifting. It is Deca-BDE free, complies with FAR 25.853(a)(1)(i) and meets the requirements for use in aircraft cargo compartments.
