Polyken 227

Polyken 227 is a professional-grade duct tape with a PE-coated cloth backing and natural rubber adhesive, offering a good balance of tensile strength and hand-tearability, aggressive adhesion and strong vertical hold. Low VOC content; tested in accordance with UL 723.

• Adhesion to steel: 7.66 N/cm (70 oz/in); adhesion to backing: 3.28 N/cm (30 oz/in) (PSTC-101)
• Tensile strength: 42.03 N/cm (24 lb/in) (ASTM D1000)
• Operating temperature: 4–93 °C (40–200 °F); VOC: <1 g/L

• Hanging and seaming poly sheeting; sealing poly bags
• General-purpose duct and insulation sealing
