Momentive RTV159 is a one-component, ready-to-use, high strength silicone rubber adhesive sealant that cures to a tough, resilient silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. It is a red paste for horizontal, vertical and overhead surfaces in applications requiring high strength and high temperature performance. It releases acetic acid vapour during cure. It retains low temperature flexibility and offers excellent electrical insulation, weatherability, ozone and chemical resistance. Because it is moisture curing, it must not be used in sections thicker than 6 mm.

- Bonds to many clean surfaces without primer; SS4004P, SS4044P or SS4179 primer is suggested for difficult substrates
