Momentive RTV160 is a one-component, ready-to-use, electronic grade silicone adhesive sealant that cures to a tough, resilient silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. It is a white flowable paste recommended for insulating, encapsulating and coating in thin sections (below 6 mm) where flow into small crevices or hard-to-reach places is desired. It is non-corrosive to electronic metals including copper and brass, and releases a low odour alcohol vapour during cure. It offers excellent resistance to moisture, dust, dirt, UV, ozone and chemicals. It is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories under the Component Recognition Program (UL File No. E-36952).

- Continuous service up to 204 °C, intermittent up to 260 °C; brittle point −60 °C
Use
- Bonds to many clean surfaces without primer; SS4004, SS4044 or SS4179 primer is suggested for difficult substrates
- Limit section thickness to 6 mm or less; clean up with naphtha or MEK before cure
