Sandstrom 28A

Sandstrom 28A is a thermoplastic, air drying solid film lubricant containing molybdenum disulfide and corrosion inhibiting pigments. It prevents corrosion, galling, seizing and fretting, and is a low friction coating with long wear life from −196 to 149 °C under loads exceeding 100,000 psi. It suits in-plant and field use where baking is not desirable or practical; once cured it is virtually unaffected by atmospheric and fretting corrosion, acids, oils and degreasers. It contains no graphite or toxic heavy metals and uses non-HAP solvents. It is supplied as marker/brush pen, aerosol and bulk, and replaces 26A, 27A and #238.
