What is the difference between heat-cure and air-dry grades?
9A, LC-300, #099 and #329 are cured by baking. 28A air dries and is for parts that cannot be baked; HI-T-650 air dries or heat cures. Cure temperature and time are in each product’s TDS.
How does SAE AS5272 relate to MIL-PRF-46010?
SAE AS5272 replaces MIL-PRF-46010 (formerly MIL-L-46010) and keeps the same types. According to Sandstrom’s cross-reference, LC-300 is Type I, 9A Type II and #099 Type III.
