Sandstrom HI-T 650 is a thermoset solid film lubricant containing molybdenum disulfide and corrosion inhibiting pigments in a silicone vehicle. It is designed to prevent galling and provide long wear life at high temperatures (260–399 °C), beyond the operating ranges of Sandstrom 9A and 28A. It gives very low friction at loads above 100,000 psi. It contains no lead or graphite, is applied by spray, dip or brush, and may be air dried or heat cured. It is qualified to SAE AS1701 Class V and sourced under PWA 550.

- Passes JP4 and Skydrol LD4 resistance
Cure and Storage
- Minimum cure: 72 hours at 25 °C; maximum cure: 1 hour at 249 °C
- Shelf life 1 year from shipment; store below 38 °C
