Sandstrom #329

Sandstrom #329 is a single-component, waterborne, inorganic heat-curing dry film lubricant qualified to MIL-PRF-81329, intended for metal components operating in environments where organic materials are not desired.

Features:

• Inorganic sodium silicate binder with molybdenum disulfide/graphite lubricating pigment
• Operating temperature range of -320°F to +750°F (-196°C to +399°C)
• Low coefficient of friction
• Applicable to a wide variety of metals by spraying, dipping or brushing

• Coefficient of friction: static 0.0788, dynamic 0.0349
• Cure: 30 min flash-off at 77°F (25°C), then 2 h at 175°F (79°C), then 2 h at 300°F (149°C)
• Operating temperature: -320°F to +750°F (-196°C to +399°C)
