Momentive SilTrust™ RTV430 is a two-part, high strength, condensation (tin) cure silicone moldmaking material. It can be used with three different catalysts, giving flexible cure options. With Beta 5 catalyst it offers thermal resistance and dimensional stability, suitable for casting high heat resins or oven cured processes. With Beta 11 it suits large, linear parts requiring flexibility and dimensional stability. It has low viscosity, flows easily, reproduces detail well and has high tear strength and flexibility.

- Beta 5 (mixed pink): work life 90 min, pot life 180 min; tensile 3.1 MPa; elongation 300%; tear 2.32 kg/mm
- Beta 11 (mixed light blue): work life 70 min, pot life 90 min; tensile 4.1 MPa; elongation 360%; tear 2.14 kg/mm
- Hardness 30 Shore A; service temperature −60 to 200 °C; linear shrinkage 1.0% at 7 days
Use
- Cures in 24 hours at 25 °C and 50% RH; heat and humidity affect cure speed
- Deaerate the mix at about 29 in Hg vacuum
