RTV 133 is a black, one-component, ready-to-use silicone rubber Adhesive Sealant that is an excellent candidate for use in applications in electronics, devices, shipping, and other industries where resistance to burn-in of the finished product is an important design element. When exposed to moisture in the air at room temperature, this adhesive sealant transforms into a tough, durable, flexible silicone rubber. It uses an atmospheric moisture curing system that releases alcohol vapor from the sealant surface during curing. RTV133 sealant offers low overall odor cure with almost no unpleasant odor or sharp curing by-products. However, curing is slightly slower in both non-stick time and curing time than silicone adhesive sealants cured with atmospheric moisture, which give acetic acid vapors as a by-product.
