Simalfa 308-FR is a one-part, water-based, flame-retardant adhesive designed for the aerospace industry.
Features:
- Solvent-free dispersion of acrylic resin and synthetic rubber in water
- Instant bonding with high yield; fast drying and processing
- Single-sided application; repositionable before final set (within approx. 15 minutes)

- Non-flammable in the wet state
Applications:
- Bonding foams, fabrics, polyester fiber, cardboard, leather, vinyl, non-wovens and other porous materials
- Application by manual or automatic spray, brush, roller or automatic roll coater

- Solids content: approx. 50% by weight
- Viscosity (Brookfield): 400–1000 cP
- Density: 1.06 g/cm³ at 20°C
- pH: 7.5–9.2 at 23°C
- Full bond strength: after 24 hours (complete water evaporation)
- Shelf life: 6 months in unopened containers, stored at 5°C to 40°C
