AN2102-4 is a novolac-type phenol-formaldehyde resin without self-curing properties, used in combination with a methylene donor to bond rubber to reinforcing materials.

- Rubber-to-reinforcement (framework material) bonding systems, used together with a methylene donor
Typical Properties:
- Appearance: Colorless to yellowish pellets
- Softening point (ring and ball): 100.0–116.0°C
- Ash (850°C): max. 0.1%
- Free phenol content: max. 0.5%
- Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture
- Storage: cool, dry warehouse; avoid moisture absorption and agglomeration
